#FunFriday .fun .friday
Not a lot of people know what the abbreviation TLD stands for. And why would you?
But the truth is, everyone uses TLD's every day of their lives.
TLD stands for Top Level Domain and is the thing you put after the dot in a web address.
.com
.co.uk
.net
.online
Those are a few of the most common ones but what happened back in the early 2000's was an influx of new top level domains, and as with everything 'internet' things escalated very quickly. see: Boaty McBoatface
Here is a list of our 10 favourite TLD's. So if you have between £0.99 and £1199 you could purchase these beauties:
- .ninja
- .sucks
- .beer and .pizza (yes it's technically two but you can't have one without the other!)
- .meme
- .unicorn
- .fail
- .wow
- .dot
- .vodka
- .transformers (my personal favourite!)
So next time you're buying a web domain try and be a little more creative... ;-)
